So, as I mentioned in my last post, I trained with my friends on sat, and haha.. damn, it was a heavy workout as well. Even though I loved it. Felt still a bit weak though, but oh well... it'll get better... I'm sure.
Niko was a great workout partner, he really supported me and encouraged me. And shout out
some good stuff, when I was doing leg presses, hahaha... ;-). (and btw, gotta love Niko's expression in that first pic, LOL)




So, first we did Smith Squats, and I did up to 120kg/264lbs for 6 reps for 2 sets and then one set with 110kg/242lbs for 6 reps as well.


Then moved on to leg presses and did about 2-3 sets with 280kg/616lbs for 8 reps and then one legged leg presses with lighter weight.

Leg extensions
and sitting leg curls as a superset for 3 sets.

After all that I was done..exhausted as hell, even if we only did like 3-4 exercises,haha.

After our workout, we all went to this nice lil cafeteria and drank some coffee and some protein muffins Anne had made for us! (Thanks girl, loved em <3).>


After I got home, I quickly ate and then changed clothes, and rushed to meet Terhi and other guys. We went to this nice italian restaurant to celebrate Terhi's competition. After we ate , we went for some drinks (only got one though,lol) and then others went to a bar and I drove home. Saturday was a great day.




Yesterday I just had a day off and drove to my parents house to EAT. yum.

Today I trained chest and bi's. And I had a great workout.
Did hammer strenght incline bench up to 90kg/198lbs , 8 reps (with few helped reps) for 2 sets and then one set with 70kg/154lbs for 10 reps and droppd to 40/88lbs kg for 8 reps.

Then did this other incline bench machine (dunno the actual name for it, but it's really great! it gives you a great stretch and you can get really good muscle contraction in your pecs in the end of the movement. ) for 2 sets with one drop set.


Cable crossovers for 4-5 sets with light weight to just really squeeze.

Then hit biceps;

Ez-bar curls :
30kg/66lbs x 10
40kg/88lbs x 6

35kg/77lbs x 8

35kg/77lbs x 7

dumbell curls:
16kg/35.2lbs x 8
18kg/39.6lbs x 8

16kg/35.2lbs x 8


seated incline dumbell curls:
14 kg/30.8lbs x 8 for 2 sets.


Then did some abs and 20 min interval cardio on a crosstrainer and 5 min cooldown on a treadmill.

Mmm..it's gonna be my birthday in 2 days! 1st of May! Yay, Can't wait :)

This week workouts' been pretty normal. Been training with my buddy Emma (hey girlie,thanks for taking the pics) for a bit and then also with Anne last weekend.

Last sunday I felt pretty weak when i was doing heavy chest training with Anne, so i had to train with a lot lighter weights than i've usually used to do with.. oh well,I hope it was just one day's "moment of weakness", and I haven't gone weaker suddenly and lost all my strength, lol

Cos I felt so bad about Sunday's workout, I continued the next day and did my volume chest/tricep workout. It went pretty well and had a good pump.
Tuesday I had a total off day.


On Wednesday I did heavy back and it went like this:


Pulldowns:
warmups with 40-60kg/88-132lbs x 10-15
75kg/165lbs x 10
80kg/176lbs x 8

80kg/176lbs x 9

80kg/176lbs x 7 -> 45kg x 15


Barbell rows:
warmups with 40-60kg/88-132lbs
90kg/198lbs x 8
90kg/198lbs x 8

90kg/198lbs x 7

One arm dumbell row:

32kg/70.4lbs x 12 for 2 sets per arm


Shrugs with dumbells:
warmups with 26kg-32kg's/57.2-70.4lbs
36kg/79.2lbs x 8

40kg/88lbs x 8

40kg/88lbs x 8


Thursday I did heavy shoulders and tris and today a volume one.

Tomorrow I'm gonna go train with Emma, Anne and Niko (he's coming from another town), and we're gonna do legs, so we'll see how the workout will turn out to be.....hopefully good though ;-)

I love to have a training partner with me, when i'm doing heavy stuff, like legs, shoulder presses/ incline benches etc. The spotter , even if he/she's just standing behind you, gives you a lot more courage, than if you would be doing the heavy set just by yourself. I feel like that especially when i'm training legs. Then I know, i can give all 110% to it, cos I know, that there is someone to "catch me if I fall".

Hey again!

How's everyone's week been? Good, I hope! The spring is finally starting to come (and hopefully staying that way.. cos like few weeks back it was like, one day it was pretty warm and sunny, then the
next day it was snowing... crazy, huh?). I start to feel more energic when the summer starts to come. I can't wait for the hot weathers. As you can tell , I'm definitely not a winter person, lol.

Today was Finland's spring show for Fitness,Figure and Classic Bodybuilding.
I had couple of friends competing there first time, and they both did Great! Congratulations Kiira for placing 2nd in figure, and my dear friend Terhi for being 3rd in Fitness! You guys are awesome, I'm So proud of you both!


It was so great to go meet my friends and see a show in a long time, cos the last competition we had in Finland, was the show I was competing in last October.
We only have like 2 shows in a year, and unfortunately only one for female bodybuilders, probably cos we don't have that many competitors here.


I've been training a bit more frequently the past week now, cos I had to have couple of total rest days last week, cos I was feeling so burned out and tired. But I think the resting did its job, cos this week I did some new set records!
like on Monday I did hams, and when doing SLDL, I did 6-7 reps with 125kg/275lbs
Then Pulldown's 3 good sets with 80kg/176lbs for 8-9 reps.



I'm sorry I haven't been able to write any better explanation of my workouts for awhile, cos I haven't wrote anything down during my workouts nowadays. I should probably start keeping the workout diary again, so I could see am I making progress or not.

Yo,
How was everyone's 1st of April? Got pranked a lot? haha, luckily I didn't. Just had another boring day at work.

So what's new with me? Nothing special really. Have lifted a bit heavier weights in some exercises. Good sets with a good form I think, which I'm pretty happy about.
Like lat pulldowns with 80kg's/176lbs
barbell rows with 90kg's/ 198lbs
Barbell Curls 40-42kg/88-92.4lbs
Incline Bench with 30kg/66lbs dumbells.

So training's been pretty good, even if I had few lil injuries during training, but I think they were just a really bad cramps (my left tricep's lower head and my right lower abs), so I've had take it more easy now. I don't want them to get worse.
I think they're also saying my body needs a bit of a break from heavy training.

I met my friends Terhi and Anne on last sat, and we just spent the evening together talking a lot,, and making the world a better place ;-) Here's few pics of me and Anne:


On Wednesday me and Anne went to Microsoft's Xbox 360 game night for girls. Had a lot of fun, met new and old friends. And oh..we loved the game RockBand! HAHA! It totally rocks ;) Here's a lil piccie :
